Just one piece of news that I've come across, and that is Bideo.com are hosting an on-line auction for "never before seen amateur video footage of Marilyn Monroe on the set of Some Like it Hot" - don't know anymore about this as I'm not responsible for this but if you would like to know more then check out their website. 02/03/2010 - Hi - thanks for being here!! The Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas is hosting the "Homicide Experience", all part of the 2010 Annual Conference of California Homicide Investigators Association - part of this exhibition will hold evidence from the death of "Our Marilyn". The exhibit is open to the public 3rd and 4th March 2010 at 10am - 7pm. Also at the Embassy London on 6th April 2010 there will be an auction of photographs, of which I think one of Marilyn is in that auction, but nothing confirmed. I can confirm that Suzie Kennedy, a top class Marilyn Monroe impersonator will be there to entertain the audience (to read more about Suzie and watch her as Marilyn please visit the Our Marilyn section and click on her page link). That is about everything I've found out so far, but if you have some Marilyn Monroe news please email me the details - thanks!! Just one bit of news to let you all know about and that is: Rare photographs of "Our Marilyn Monroe" are going to be for sale in an auction, further details have not been released like which and where the auction will be. All I can tell you is they were taken in December 1961 by photographer Len Steckler when she visited Carl Sandburg (poet) in a New York apartment. In the photographs, which sadly I haven't seen, Marilyn is stated as wearing pointed glasses and a short-sleeved dress, while sipping whisky and holding hands with the 83 year old.
